i've been singing a tune of "Norwegian Wood" all the time

since i went to see ノルウェイの森 the other day.

i've read the book many years ago and had a strong image on each character,

i can't compare the film with the book but it doesn't bother me at all.

i love Tran Anh Hung's semi-transmissive dreamy greens in his every film.

 this one also, it was visually stunningly-beautiful.

winter#1

i just made the above treasury "let it snow"

inspired by ladies living in sapporo, montreal and vancouver 

they all told me about "snow" coincidentally today.

winter foods tell us our winter has already come,

but it will take a while before we get our first snow...

yummy snacks go perfectly well with genmai-tea.

The above is a belt bag that I made at the class.　It's not an item to use in my daily life but I like it a lot.　Still there're some process left like cutting the edge and so on. Today's Mrs.Nakao's lunch was Oden, was perfect for a chilly day!

Loves turn to red and gold...

I've found some new faves when browsing for the above, etsy is a real cyber GOLD mountain for me(' u ')/  Red and gold... Brown and forest green... it's perfect time for those delicious colors!

Oh, it's time for おやつ/sweets (3pm) !!! To ride the "conveni-sweets" boom, each convenience store is promoting its variety of sweets lately.  The quality is more than excellent for the prices, wish I could share some...

It's time to update new items and I just did some. Taking photos is a fun process but mine often look tasteless when displayed as small thumbnail images. So much to learn from betters, I do have to work on it...

in the mood for small talk

"in the mood for small talk"... yes, I am! I've got lovely postal mails from my girl friends living far away this week. I do feel like flying here and there for small but GOOD talk with them...

And lovely convos from  etsians did lift me up, too! Sarah (from Mouse Trap Vintage) & Beth (from SquidWhale Designs) made my treasury "night tales" part of their first blog post for the series "ETSY TREASURY FRIDAYS" <3  YEY!!! 

And my dearest customer Q, it's simply great to know that people appreciate what I do with passion.

one morning

a slice of toasted yogurt bread and a cup of great coffee. the kitchen was filled with delightful aroma of both this morning. thanks to the home bakery... (one of our best buys last year) having fresh and fluffy bread without making a mess is simply wonderful !!

it's very windy and cloudy outside, took a quick walk to the post office to ship parcels out and found some beautiful stamps! soon, it's winter...

Gorgeous yellows that I've found on etsy today. It's been deliciously cool here and my treasury colors have become warmer spontaneously... Sit and sip serching for great items from all over the world is always so exciting and lifts me up in a big way, it's now like chromotherapy for me, I simply love it!!!

Banko's new style

Bambina-Banko just had hair cut as hair-model for the first time at a pet grooming school. She loves people more than her fellows, got so excited to meet so many friendly young students there.
And Voila... it's beautifully done! Better than any grooming parlors we've ever been. Great work!!!..

Leather craft class#1

I've made these coin purse and glasses case today. There're so many attractive leather pieces in various colors and texture in Sensei's storage, but I'm required to take 6 courses to learn all the basic with making predetermined items include today's two. The process is so simple for now but I had so much fun to use my new tools.

The atmosphere of the class is simply so nice, did enjoy good chat with ladies in all ages and Mrs.Nakao's superb lunch (the menu was Chirashizushi and kenchin-jiru)! Can't wait the 1st Monday in Nov....

Today's surprise...

I haven't got a good luck in sales so far and feel lost sometimes but such generous supports from other sellers have been turned into a positive energy in a big way.

September rain

My treasury of the day is about today's weather. It rained after almost a month, I love the feel of the cool summer shower but it didn't last long... can't wait to get away from the summer heat soon.

Leather craft workshop

Yesterday, I went for a leather craft workshop and this is the "pass case" I made.

Every part was pre-cut this time and it didn't take long but the whole process that i saw what others do was quite interesting.

Mr. Nakao who invited me there is the owner of our family's favorite craft shop over decades and also well-known as a great crafter. He and his wife both 70ish are always full of energy, so generous to customers and Mrs.Nakao even prepared yum-yum lunch for everybody (12 people)!!! was a great surprise.

I really liked the cozy little class and I decided to start it from next month. It's once a month basically, will be cool to make original leather handles and pockets for my bags, dog leads for Banko  etc. ...

Today's find is the new red lam jacket!!! She seems like a boy cosplaying as a big fan of "Boston Red Sox" in a way but it's been so cold this winter and she needed one like this. She looks warm enough and gorgeous at the same time... was a really great deal!!!
