baking, stitching and knitting

N&Y invited me for yakitori-dinner this evening and i baked my favorite tricks "caramel cheese cake" and "brownie" as souvenirs. they both turned out great, hope they're not on a diet...
january really flew by and it's already february...  it's supposed to be my luckiest month of the year by a fortune teller, i have to let my eyes and mind widely open!

baking on sunday

i baked so many cookies for a friend,
with a bit of sesame oil instead of vanilla for a change.
the kitchen smells wonderful !
hope none of these guys break in transit...
bon voyage!!!

one morning

a slice of toasted yogurt bread and a cup of great coffee. the kitchen was filled with delightful aroma of both this morning. thanks to the home bakery... (one of our best buys last year) having fresh and fluffy bread without making a mess is simply wonderful !!

it's very windy and cloudy outside, took a quick walk to the post office to ship parcels out and found some beautiful stamps! soon, it's winter...

baking with wild sake yeast

moist, chewy and crunchy... always nice to start a day with baking!!!

home made "anpan"

it's been raining all morning...to lift my dull spirit up, i started the day with baking anpan  mmm... , smells yum!!!
